Oak Tree Escape focuses on an element of camping, but so much more than just a tent. Embrace your spirit of adventure and stay over in one of our quirky Hobbit Huts. Unlike usual canvas tent camping you will arrive at a little more, wooden Hobbit Huts complete with double bed and memory foam mattress, a welcome bottle of bubbly, bottled spring water with tea & coffee making facilities too. Don your fluffy robes and venture down to our outdoor spa area with a hot tub and log-burning sauna that you are free to light yourself. Why settle for a bland, four-walled hotel room, get out of your comfort zone and enjoy nature whilst relaxing around your own personal fire pit.
At Oak Tree Escape we have three standard huts, which are named Zebra, Tiger and Leopard, all subtly themed, and a new larger hut called Flamingo, this is much larger with a separate lounge area and a bigger outdoor area.

Oak Tree Escape is just that, turn up, switch off your phone and go straight to your well-equipped Hobbit Hut, no waiting in reception to check-in. You will find a plethora of items to help make your escape as relaxing as possible from the complimentary bottled water to the tea & coffee facilities. Think of a wooden tent, still an element of camping but with solid walls.The huts are fitted with small electric heaters to help take the chill off during those cooler months. Outside you will find outdoor seating, outdoor lighting and a fire pit to while the night away.
Our Hobbit Hut guests have access to our outdoor spa area, which consists of a 12 seater traditional Scandinavian hot tub why not light up the classic wood-burning sauna to compliment this, ample seating areas in the spa area promise to make your stay even more relaxing. There will only ever be 8 people on-site at any one time, this ensures that quiet, peaceful environment to catch up with each other. The spa area is open until 8 pm for all guests, after this you can reserve a private hour just for yourselves.
Doing nothing is a foreign concept to most of us nowadays, when do we really get a chance to do nothing, relax and spend quality time with each other? Oak Tree Escape is for exactly that, no crowded clubhouse, no noisy arcades. Just you, your partner and the perfect excuse to ‘do nothing’. Precious time with great company. An unbending focus to your being left alone the second you set foot in one of our quirky Hobbit Huts.
